Vision, Values and Mission
St. Anthony Park United Church of Christ

Our Vision and
Mission were
developed through
a year of study,
conversation, and prayer, and first adopted in
January, 2000.

Honoring our covenant relationship with God, we are committed to grow in our responses to Christ's call that we love God with heart, soul and mind and that we love others as God loves us all.  As a joyful community we affirm and nurture the gifts each person brings and follow in the way of Jesus through ministries of hospitality, compassion, justice, and peace.

Our Values

Our LIFE with God:
We love and worship God
who welcomes and forgives
us and grants us life in the
spirit.  God calls us to love
and serve and forgive our
neighbors and to build a
caring community.

Our CHRISTIAN faith:
We have faith in Jesus Christ,
our crucified and risen Savior.
The Holy Spirit is active in our
lives.  God forgives our sins,
gives us courage in the struggle
for justice and peace, and grants
us eternal life.

Our Mission

We build a caring church community through nurture, fellowship, and
service to each other;

We serve the wider community
through programs of outreach and service to those in need;

United Church of Christ;

We provide our time and talents
to create a vital, aesthetic, and
spiritual environment;

We invite others seeking worship, nurture, learning,
and serving
to join our community.
